Description of innovation: L’Atlas forestier est une plateforme fournissant des informations actualisées sur le domaine national (domaine national permanent et domaine national non permanent) ainsi qu’une carte d’occupation des terres. Les utilisateur·rice·s potentiel·le·s peuvent se connecter à cette plateforme à l’adresse suivante : cmr.forest-atlas.org.
Purpose and additional value of innovation: L’atlas vise à renforcer la gestion forestière et l’aménagement du territoire en rassemblant sur une plateforme standardisée des informations sur les principales catégories d’utilisation des sols.
Expert analysis/comments on innovation (impact, failure, success, etc.): La limite de cette application dans la protection des forêts réside dans le manque d’accès à Internet dans plusieurs zones forestières du pays. Cette limite se manifeste dans le volume de rapports produits pour mettre à jour le domaine forestier national.
